Boost Juice, working with Redcat from their 3rd store to over 700

Boost Juice brought the smoothie to the Australian public, turning what had previously been a niche health food into a popular mainstream favourite. Their delicious blends of fruit, ice-cream and yogurt have now captured taste buds around the world, seeing Boost expand to an international network of 700 stores, managed from their Melbourne head office. 

 

An operation of Boost’s scale relies on smart IT systems and a reliable technology partner. Boost selected Redcat as that partner, to provide the hospitality management platform for their franchise and company owned stores. It’s a decision that proved to be a sound one for the business and a relationship that has gone from strength to strength over time.  

Boost value Redcat’s partnership, an in particular their reliability, engagement and responsiveness. Claire Lauber, Managing Director explains; “The number one thing in retail is being able see your sales figures, and I rely on the Redcat system. We've got over 700 stores on the platform and never have I been unable to get the sales pull through. To Claire, partnership is embodied in the way that Redcat understands the Boost Juice business and is able to add value with new ideas; “The account team talks to us about innovation, about market trends and how they might be relevant to us. They’ll do the research and explain how we could roll out new approaches in our business. If it means adapting the platform, they’ll aim to get it done to our timeframe. It’s an important driver in growing sales and profit.”

Redcat’s client-centric approach is a big deal for Claire; “To come on state road shows and give up an enormous amount of time to be the subject matter experts for our teams is a big point of difference. There aren’t many businesses that would put in so much time to educate and train our teams on how to get the best out of their platform.”

One of the recent innovations enabled by the Redcat platform was the ‘Order Now’ app. 

Boost has a large and loyal following, and wanted to give their customers an even better Boost experience. At peak times, customers were having to queue for their smoothie, so Boost wanted to offer customers the option to order in advance, and pick up at a time that suited them. They wanted to make loyal customers feel special and valued, with member offers and easy ways to earn, store and use Boost Vibe loyalty points.  

They harnessed the power of Redcat’s tailorable and integrated loyalty option to build the app that enables customers to find their nearest Boost store, and select and order their Boost in advance, nominating their preferred pickup time. The app is fully integrated with Boost’s POS systems so online orders are treated just like in-store transactions.  

Customer reaction to Order Now has been even better than predicted. Customers love that they get to see the full Boost menu, complete with ingredients and nutritional information. Loyalty members get regular ‘Mates Rates’ offers, and can pay with their points, with pre-loaded Vibe Cash or a Credit Card.   

With its outstanding relationship, and a platform that drives market innovation, Redcat is helping Boost to serve more happy customers with more juice and smoothies – that’s what they call a pretty good blend.
