White Label Delivery - Real Time Driver Tracking

Summary

A driver tracking page can be displayed on a web browser in-store to show the real-time driver tracking statuses from Uber Direct and DoorDash Drive, allowing greater control over prep start times for orders and ensuring the best possible product is delivered to the consumer.

Prerequisites

The following versions are required for the functionality described in this article.

• Polygon POS Management  2508.1.0 or later. 
  
  

How does it work?

Access Polygon Central | Loyalty & Ordering | Driver Tracking and select the required Location from the drop-down list. 

The page will refresh every 30 seconds and displays the white label delivery orders for today:

• the delivery provider (Uber Direct or DoorDashDrive)
• the Redcat order number
• the driver name 
• the driver number
• the estimated pickup time
• the order status;
  • active
    Scheduled / Pending Driver
    (order accepted but driver not yet allocated)
    Driver Allocated
    (driver has been assigned)
    Driver Imminent
    (driver status has been updated to indicate they are close to the store)
    With Driver
    (driver has collected the order and is on the way to the customer)
  • closed
    Delivered
    (driver has indicated the order has been delivered)
    Cancelled
    (driver has cancelled the job - note: the job will be reallocated to another driver)

• show all delivered orders
• show cancelled orders

User Role

To access the Driver Tracking page, the admin user must be allocated the following user role.

• Driver Tracking
