Daypart Menu Mapping
Would you like to use Daypart Menu Mapping?
Summary
Daypart Menu Mapping allows different menus to be scheduled and exported by time, day, location, provider, and sale type. This is especially useful when aggregators do not support daypart menus in their standard menu export.
How Does it Work?
Menu Mapping will allow you to:
-
define the dayparts applicable
-
map the menus against store ID, provider, daypart and optionally, sale type.
When an aggregator sync is performed, a check is made to match:
-
a daypart against the current date and time
-
the store and provider, and optionally the sale type, in a menu map for that daypart
If a match is found for all components, that menu is used in the menu export for the store/aggregator. If not, the menu listed in Configuration | Ordering will apply.
Automated scheduled jobs will trigger the menu exports based on the configured mapping, reducing manual intervention.
Polygon Central will check the menu mapping to ensure the correct menu is exported when utilising these functions:
- menu sync
- task server jobs
- item availability
- price levels
- control console
AWS email notifications are sent for failed menu exports within 15 minutes, providing timely alerts to stakeholders.
